One of the activities in the Adventure camp was trekking and then we have to cross a river, wow the braingym kids just love the clear and cool river water.What fun they were all having, everyone of us including the adults had a great time.We were on our way to the waterfall to have a splashing time.

After doing a balance on accessin the Midfield, our participant Derek could do the 3 balls Bal-A-Vis-X juggle duing the Basic 101 Brain Gym Workshop.For Derek, it worked but he still could not understand how and why.What is important he has achieved a skill for life and it will be remember as long as he lives.Thanks Brain Gym.

Spider net at Pasir Ris

The braingym kids at Pasir Ris Park climbing the sider net.This is one of our favourite playground in the east,it is shady and with lots of climbing equipments.This is the place to bring children for a day of good fun and they will definitely get lots of excellent motor movement to improve balance and coordination.They will also get lots of sensory and tactile integration if you allow them to do it with their bare feet.

Bukit Timah Rock Path

The braingym kids of combo group went trekking at Bukit Timah hill and we climbed down the rock path. Though we have trekked in Bukit timah a number of times but this was the first time we climbed down the rock path instead of up. It was a little harder that’s all.We did a good job and I am happy that everyone enjoyed the outing.

Recee @ Adeline rest house

We took the weekend holiday to recee Adeline Rest House which is located in the town of Gopeng, Perak. It is such an interesting place, the resorts are all true copy of the orang asli dwelling and they are also made by the orang asli themselves.The lady boss is very nice and we are promised all of us will be well fed.Yummy, yummy!Can’t wait to go.

Braingym kids and rope climbing

The Sunshine group of braingym kids honing their skills in rope climbing. As you can see it is not something that we can take for granted,children given the right opportunity will be able to coordinate eyes hands and feet in play. This sort of play is invaluable to the vestibular system which will in turn help children be more able to access the sense organs in a balanced and organised manner. True to our motto “Play to learn”.

How to load a rubber band gun

This little braingym kid can use both his hands so well in loading a rubber band gun.Look at the amount of motor patterning he has in manipulating his way through the whole process and finally got to enjoy the fruits of his labor. What a joy to observe a young mind play to learn.
